Richard Schilling joined Concorde Hotels & Resorts and the team of the Hotel Martinez as General Manager in 2006. One of his key roles involves the setting-up of a regional structure, regrouping the hotels in Cannes, Nice and Marseille where the opening of a 4-star is planned for the end of 2007.
Richard Schilling, a Shannon College Hotel Management graduate, was born into a family of hoteliers. He started his international career in the Middle East, in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi. Relocated to the USA, he opened "Ma Maison" in LA and supervised the Sofitel in San Francisco. After 10 years in the USA, he settled in Asia, first with Four Seasons & Regent in Malaysia and then with Park Lane Hotels where again he opened and managed several hotels in Indonesia. Back with the ACCOR group, he took care of the opening of the Sofitel Cancun and then in Spain, Las Dunas Beach & Spa in Marbella, member of the Leading Hotels of the World.
