Concorde Hotels COMPETITION – AIRLINE PARTNERS

 

1. PURPOSE
The Company Concorde registered on the Trade and Companies Register of Nanterre under number  487 606 170 whose registered offices are located at Village 5 – 50, Place de l’Ellipse, CS70050 – 92081 La Défense - France, referred to hereafter as “the Organizer”, acting in these proceedings through its legal representative, domiciled in this capacity at the aforementioned registered offices,

is organizing from:

 

a competition, hereafter referred to as “the Operation”.

The purpose of this Operation is for the winner to earn 100,000 award miles and one free night at one of our Concorde hotels.

2. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

Participation in the competition is free and does not carry any obligation to make a purchase; it is open to anyone over the age of eighteen on the date of their participation and who is a member of the Club Premier programme.
The following persons and entities are not authorized to participate in the competition: anyone having a legal link with the Organizing Company or any company belonging to the same group, the partners in the Operation, their permanent and temporary employees, their ascendants, descendants, spouses, common-law wives or husbands, or partners.

3. RULES

Participation in the competition implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules, of which a full version may be viewed and downloaded from our site:

They may also be received free of charge by post (standard rate postage will be reimbursed on request) by sending a written request to:

No response will be made to letters or telephone calls relating to the interpretation or application of these rules, the procedures involved in playing the game, the terms of the game, or the list of winners.

The Organizing Company’s decision will be absolutely final in all matters relating to the interpretation and/or application of these rules and in any dispute that may arise concerning the terms or timing of the Operation, its progress or the results.
 
The Organizing Company reserves the right to suspend, cancel, delay or postpone the Operation and/or modify its terms at any time, after providing information by all appropriate means as required by the circumstances; its responsibility will not in any case be engaged on this account.

The rules will thus be updated as often as may be necessary and the latest version will be made available on line as soon as possible.

 

4. PROGRESSION OF THE OPERATION

Members participating in the Operation will receive an email from contact@concorde-hotels.com inviting them to participate.
By clicking on the link in the email they will be connected to the following address:

It will also be possible to participate by using the following Internet address, which will be displayed in advertisements in partner magazines.

On connection to the home page, participants will have to:
 

  1. Reply to a series of five questions.
  2. Fill out the participation form by completing the following fields: title, surname, first name, address, postal code, town, email address, telephone number.
  3. Declare that they are aware of the rules of the game and check the box to confirm their acceptance of the rules.

5. CLOSING DATE FOR PARTICIPATION
The closing date for participation in the competition is midnight on 30 June 2010.
The only acceptable proof of participation will be the date that emails are received on the Organizer’s computer servers.
The Organizer will not in any circumstances be held responsible for faulty reception or failure to receive participants’ emails, resulting in particular from interruptions to connections, difficulties in establishing connections, or malfunctions of the Internet during the Operation.

6. INVALID PARTICIPATION

Participation in the game will be considered invalid if:
• The enrolment form is not properly completed:
• There is a mistake in the name and/or address fields, the information is false or sent to an incorrect email address.
• The time of the electronic reception of the enrolment form is after midnight on the closing date, the electronic dating and timing serving as proof.
• The participant is not a member of the partner’s Flying Blue programme.

Failure by a participant to respect the rules of the Operation, and any other rules that may be issued by the Organizer to ensure that the game progresses appropriately, will result in the participant’s immediate disqualification, the organiser’s decision being final in all such matters.

7. PRIZE ALLOCATION
The winner will be chosen from all the participants that have correctly answered the five questions over the period of the game by a draw supervised by:

If no participant correctly answers all five questions, then the winner will be decided by a draw from the participants that replied correctly to the highest number of questions.

The draw will take place on 1 July 2010.

There is one prize of 100.000 award miles with a free night at one of Concorde Hotels & Resorts for a value of 2000 euros.

The winner may not ask to receive the cash equivalent of their prize. The prize may not be exchanged for another prize or any other goods or services. The value of the prize is given for guideline purposes and does not take into account promotions or special offers. The value of the prize may vary and the above does not constitute an undertaking regarding the value of the prize.

The miles awarded will be valid until 1 February 2012 in compliance with Flying Blue programme and Air France and KLM which can be consulted on the site Air France KLM.

8. FRAUD
The Organizer’s responsibility will not be engaged as a result of any fraud that may be committed. The Organizer’s decision will be final in any cases of fraud committed by participants in the competition.

9. REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS OF CONNECTION AND OF REQUESTING THE RULES BY POST
Participation in the competition is free and without any obligation to make a purchase, also, any person participating in the game may, by sending a written request to the address of the game’s Organizer, receive the following reimbursements:

This reimbursement will be refused if the participant has a subscription entitling them to unlimited access to the Internet.

Such requests must be made at the latest fifteen working days after the closing date of the competition.

10. ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE RESULTS  

The name of the winner will be able to be consulted on a page of the web site www.concorde-hotels.com/quiz-flyingblue and will include their first name, the first letter of their surname and their postal code.

The winner will be personally informed the day after the announcement of the results, by mail to the electronic or postal address that they entered on their enrolment form, and will receive instructions to follow in order to obtain their prize.

If the winner does not respond within eight days of this information being sent to their electronic or postal address, no claim will be accepted regarding the allocation of the prize.

Similarly, no claim will be accepted from the winner if the latter has been informed but does not follow the procedure required in order to obtain their prize.

Data of a personal nature that is collected in the context of this competition will be treated in compliance with the modified French Data Protection and Privacy Act of 6 January 1978, relating to digitally stored information and consumer rights.

The personal information relating to participants in the Operation that is requested on the enrolment form is necessary for participation in the competition in compliance with the terms of these rules.
In compliance with the French Data Protection and Privacy Act of 6 January 1978, participants have the right to access and modify any personal information relating to them held in our files.
Unless specified in writing by participants, such information may be used by the Organizer and its subsidiaries in order to offer participants other products and services, including those available in the context of partnerships. It may be given to research companies carrying out surveys on an anonymous basis and not resulting in any form of commercial contact. In order to object to any such distribution and/or obtain the addresses of companies receiving this information, participants should write to:

11. LAW
These rules are governed by French law.

12. RISKS INHERENT TO THE USE OF THE INTERNET
Participation in the game implies awareness and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the Internet, of the absence of protection of certain data against possible abuse or theft and the risk of contamination by computer viruses circulating on networks.

The Organizing Company declines any responsibility in the event of the incorrect use of, or incidents related to, computers, access to the Internet, the telephone network or any other connection technology.
