RULES
CONCORDE HOTELS AND RESORTS COMPETITION
1. PURPOSE
Concorde, a company registered in Nanterre under the number 487 606 170 and headquartered at Village 5 – 50, place de l’Ellipse, CS70050 – 92081 La Défense, hereinafter called “the organiser”,
Is organising, beginning on:
- 1 November 2007 through to 31 March 2008 inclusive
A competition, hereinafter called « the operation ».
The purpose of this operation is for stays in one of the Concorde hotels to be won once a month.
2. ENTRY CONDITIONS
This free competition with no obligation to purchase is open to any person who is adult at the time they take part.
No person having a legal connection with the organising company or any companies belonging to the same group, the partners in the operation, their permanent and temporary employees, their ascendants and descendants, their spouse, partner or cohabitant may enter the competition.
3. RULES
Participation in this competition implies the acceptance without restriction or reservation of these rules, which may be consulted and downloaded in full on the site
“www.concorde-hotels.com/quiz” (in .pdf format)
and which may also be mailed free of charge (postage costs, at second-class letter rate, reimbursed upon simple request) to any person making a request in writing to:

In addition, there shall be no response to any telephone or written request concerning the interpretation and application of these rules, or the mechanism and terms and conditions of the contest or the list of prize-winners.

The organising company shall rule in a sovereign capacity on any difficulty that may be caused by the interpretation and/or application of these rules and any dispute that may arise with regard to the conditions or term of organisation of the operation, its proceeding or its results.
The organising company reserves the right to suspend, abolish, postpone or delay the operation and/or modify its terms and conditions at any moment after notification by all appropriate means where circumstances make this necessary; it may not be held liable as a result of this.
The rules shall be updated consequently as often as necessary and the latest version shall be published on-line as quickly as possible.
4. THE PROCEEDING OF THE OPERATION
Each person wishing to participate in the competition shall only need to:
1) Connect directly via the Internet to the address www.concorde-hotels.com/quiz
2) Then, when they are connected to the home page:
- Answer a series of five questions.
- Fill out the entry form with the following information: title, last name, first name, address, postcode, town, e-mail address and telephone number.
- Read the rules of the competition and tick the rules acceptance box.
5. CLOSING DATE FOR PARTICIPATION
The closing date for participation in the competition is 31 March 2008 at midnight.
Only the date on which the electronic mail is received on the organiser’s computer servers shall be deemed authentic.
The organiser may not be held liable under any circumstances for the non-reception or poor reception of the participant’s electronic mail, such as in particular in the event of communications breakdowns, connection difficulties or Internet network malfunctions occurring during the proceeding of the operation.
6. NON-VALIDITY OF THE PARTICIPATION
Participation in the competition shall be invalid if:
- The forms are not complete
- The identity and/or address details are incorrect, false or sent to a wrong e-mail address
- Electronic reception of the file occurs after midnight on the expiry date, ascertained by the electronic time and date stamp of receipt having probative force.
Non-compliance by the participant with the terms and conditions of the regulations of the operation, and all those that shall be drawn up by the organiser in order to ensure its proper proceeding, shall lead to the immediate disqualification of the participant. The organiser shall rule in a sovereign capacity in such a case.
7. PRIZES/VALUES
The prize-winners shall be chosen from among the participants who correctly answered the 5 questions for the contest underway each month by means of a lucky draw carried out under the supervision of:

Supposing the number of participants who answered the 5 questions correctly is less than the number of prizes to be distributed that month, the additional winners shall be drawn by lots from among those people who had correctly answered the greatest number of questions.
The draws shall be held on the 5th of the month following the contest, i.e. 5 December 2007, 5 January 2008, 5 February 2008, 5 March 2008 and 5 April 2008.
This contest has the following prizes:
The nominal value of the vouchers in the event of exchange is €0.01.
The prizes do not include transportation and the winners shall be liable for all other expenses incurred during the stay (except for the hotel room and breakfast for 2 people).
Winners may not request a cash payment in place of their prize. The prize cannot be exchanged for another prize or any other goods or services. The value of the prizes is shown for information purposes, exclusive of promotions and special offers. The price of the prizes may change and does not constitute a commitment concerning the value of the prizes.
8. FRAUD
The organiser cannot be held liable as a result of any fraud being committed. The organiser shall rule in a sovereign capacity on any case of fraud found to be committed by one of the people participating in the competition.
9. REIMBURSEMENT OF CONNECTION COSTS AND THE COSTS OF SENDING THE REGULATIONS
Participation in the competition is free and there is no obligation to buy. In addition, any person taking part in the contest may be reimbursed for the following upon request to the contest address:
- The cost of the stamp needed to request the mailing of these rules and/or reimbursement of the participation, based on the second-class postal rate in force at the time the request is received.
- The cost of the Internet connection corresponding to the consultation of these regulations, on a basis of 3 minutes at the reduced rate of €0.15, upon presentation of documentary proof from the Internet service provider showing the date and time of the connection to the site www.concorde-hotels.com.
This reimbursement shall be refused if the Net surfer benefits from a subscription allowing unlimited Internet access.
These requests must be submitted at most 15 working days after the closing date of the competition.
10. PUBLICATION OF THE RESULTS
The list of prize-winners may be looked up on a Web page of the site www.concorde-hotels.com/quiz
which will show the first letter of the last name, the first name and home postcode of the winners.
Prize-winners will be notified individually on the day following the publication of the results. The notification will be sent to the e-mail or postal address on their entry form and they will also be informed of the procedure to follow in order to obtain their prize.
No complaint concerning the distribution of prizes shall be accepted if no response to this e-mail or letter is received within eight days of the notification being sent.
Similarly, no complaint on the part of the winner shall be accepted if, having been informed, they did not follow the procedure required to obtain their prize.
Personal data collected in the context of this competition shall be processed in accordance with the amended law of January 6, 1978 on Information Technology, files and civil liberties.
Personal data relating to participants in the operation, requested on the entry form, is necessary for registering participation in the competition in accordance with the terms and conditions of these rules.
In accordance with the law on Information Technology and Civil Liberties (“loi Informatique et Libertés”) of 6 January 1978, the participant has the right to access and correct all personal data relating to them in our files.
In the absence of written objection from the contestant, this information may be used by the organiser and its subsidiaries to offer other products and services, including in the context of partnerships. It may be communicated to research firms, with a view to surveys handled anonymously and not giving rise to any sales offers. To object to such distribution and/or obtain the addresses of the recipients, the contestant must write to:

11. LAW
These rules are governed by French law.
12. RISKS INHERENT IN USING THE INTERNET
Participation in this contest implies the knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of the Internet, the absence of protection for certain data items against any misuse or piracy and the risk of infection by any computer viruses circulating on the network.
The organising company declines all responsibility in the event of poor utilisation or an incident linked to the use of the computer, Internet access, telephone line or any other connection technology.
