Established by Napoleon in 1804, Cimetière du Père Lachaise is considered to be the largest cemetery in the world. Located to the East of Paris in the 20th arrondissement, the cemetery is visited by thousands of people each year who come to see the graves of the many famous artists, writers and composers that are buried here. Among others; Oscar Wilde, Maria Callas, Eugene Delacroix, Camille Pissaro, Jim Morrison and Edith Piaf.
