A passionate artist Mounting an exhibition devoted to André Malraux at the Museum of Romanticism is undoubtedly the best way of paying tribute to the writer. A friend of the Siohan family, the previous owners of this house where literary meetings were held, Malraux worked hard as Minister for Cultural Affairs to ensure that this former center of artistic and intellectual activity would be preserved by the French State. The Museum is therefore a home from home for Malraux. Works by his closest friends (Chagall, Masson, Picasso, and others) are on display to celebrate the centenary of his birth. Great minds are reunited once again, while the exhibition lasts.
