Hamburg in 100 shots Andreas Feininger was originally an architect in Hamburg. Encouraged by his former photography teacher, Moholy Nagy, to consider new ideas, he began to see architecture in a new light. He took photographs of buildings in Hamburg that displayed then-unpublished architectural features, which still merit considerable attention today. Displayed alongside contemporary works by Natascha A. Brunswick and Lotte Genzsch, these photographs provide an enlightening comparison between Hamburg in the Thirties and in the 21st century.
