An artist of many talents He could have been a painter, a poet or a sculptor: he decided to be all three simultaneously, and, surprising to some, managed to pull it off. Jean Arp didn't want to reproduce but rather to produce. Today his work is characterized by its uniqueness, just like the Dada movement to which he was one of the key contributors. Arp didn't need to wait for recognition from his peers to achieve international fame; his talent overrides the need for appraisal. This exhibition reminds us why this man is considered one of the most influential artists of his time.
