Not many, unfortunately. These often-ephemeral documents are therefore known as ephemera; they have little in common with their supposedly superior counterparts books, for example, which we hang onto more readily. The Museum of Printing has nonetheless managed to assemble a substantial collection of ephemera, thanks to the archives of four printing houses. This exhibition helps us to realize that it is really such ephemeral documents that shape our lives and allow our own stories to be written.
