From Catalan modernism to Parisian art nouveau By the late 19th century, Paris and Barcelona were linked by solid artistic and cultural ties. The emblematic artists of this relationship, on both the French and Catalan sides, influenced the history of art - yet many of them never met. This exhibition attempts to bring together the works of the artists involved. Every field of art, from sculpture to architecture, Manet to Rodin, is represented. Visitors are drawn into exploring the similarities and differences between the two cultures, from 1888 to 1937, from the World Exposition of Barcelona to that of Paris.
