An exceptional Hungarian collection The museum of fine art in Budapest is crammed full of treasures, including the 43 paintings from the main Italian schools of the 15th to the 18th centuries that form the subject of this exhibition. These works are on loan from the Hungarian museum to its Canadian counterpart, which has organized the exhibition. This is a major event, since it's rare that a North American museum has the opportunity to bring together so many jewels of European art. The inclusion of works by Raphaël, Titian and Veronese, among others, makes this occasion even more important. Montreal can take pride in having organized such a splendid exhibition.
