Our perception of time is called into question with this exhibition. American, European, African and Asian artists offer us their perceptions of the duration and passage of time. With themes as diverse as "collapsed time," "transgressive bodies," or "liquid time," every aspect of time is raised for our scrutiny, as are the objects we use to measure time, with an emphasis on clocks and watches. All the techniques of multimedia and video are also called into play to help this exhibition fully express the artistic sensibilities developed by each artist.
