Sylvain Ercoli was appointed General Manager of the Hôtel de Crillon in November 2006.

Born in 1958 and a graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in New York, Sylvain Ercoli has managed some of the most prestigious hotels throughout Europe. He started his career in hotel chains in 1980 and joined the Hôtel Nova Park Elysées as Assistant Manager in 1981. Three years later, he was appointed Deputy Manager of the Hôtel Ritz in Paris and, in 1988, was promoted to the position of Manager. In 1993, he took over as Manager of the Hôtel George V and, in 1995, was appointed General Manager of the Hôtel Saint-Géran in Mauritius. From 1999 to 2001, he was Managing Director of the Hôtel Byblos in Saint-Tropez and the Hôtel Byblos Des Neiges in Courchevel. Appointed Managing Director of the Hôtel Martinez in October 2001, Sylvain Ercoli was also the Managing Director of the Société de l’Hôtel et du Casino du Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice.
