The specific Concorde Prestige card designed for AAdvantage members will be named below the cobranded Concorde Prestige card. The
"cardholder" being the holder of a "cobranded Concorde Prestige card" specific to AAdvantage members.
COBRANDED CONCORDE PRESTIGE CARD DESIGNED FOR AADVANTAGE MEMBERS - FEATURES
The specific scheme provides members with certain advantages, namely the AAdvantage miles credits based upon pre-established rules in line with
the conditions below.
The cobranded Concorde Prestige card may be used in Concorde Hotels participating in the global Concorde Prestige scheme.
The card is valid for one year and may be used up until the last day of the month shown. The card is not transferable and may not be resold or lent to
another person. It is not a credit card
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE COBRANDED CONCORDE PRESTIGE CARD - AMERICAN AIRLINES CARD
Anyone being an AAdvantage member and wishing to join the specific scheme may apply to do so by returning a completed, signed application form
together with payment to Concorde Hotels, Prestige Department, 83, Bd Exelmans 75016 Paris France, or to the nearest Concorde Hotels Sales
Office, or by E-mail.
Anyone whose application is accepted by Concorde Hotels will be sent as soon as possible a personalized cobranded Concorde Prestige card with
name, AAdvantage and Prestige membership numbers, together with the uptodate Concorde Hotels directory.
Application to the scheme implies unlimited general acceptance of these conditions.
Concorde Hotels reserve the right to refuse applications which do not meet the stated criteria, without having to justify their decision.
Each applicant is obligated to provide information regarding changes of address. Concorde Hotels will not be held responsible for mail not forwarded
or for any possible consequences.
BENEFITS
Preferentials rates
Any AAdvantage member who hold the cobranded Concorde Prestige card can benefit in the participating hotels from preferential rates representing
from 10% to 20% discount on standard rates, 7 days a week (rates available upon request). The benefits mentioned above cannot be combined either
with other Concorde Hotels promotions or in the case of contractual reductions entered into with a company.
These discounts only apply in participating hotels.
Preferential Services
- Upgrade to superior room on request and subject to availability.
- Room avaible until 4.00 pm on the day of departure with prior request and upon avaibility.
AADVANTAGE ® MILES
Principle
During any paid stay at eligible rate in a Concorde Hotel participating in the Concorde Prestige scheme where at least one night is spent in a room at
the hotel, the cardholder will be eligible for AAdvantage miles calculated on the following basis : $1,00 USD incl. VAT spent at the hotel = 1
AAdvantage mile.
There is a guaranteed minimum of AAdvantage miles earned per stay*: 500 miles (expenses of $500 USD and beside)
There is a maximum of AAdvantage miles earned per stay* : 2,000 miles (expenses of $2,000 USD and over).
* one stay being one or several consecutive nights whether one or several entry forms have been filled in.
How to calculate AAdvantage miles in Concorde Hotels
Services provided by the hotel, invoiced to the client holding the specific card and paid for immediately, are taken into consideration in the calculation
of AAdvantage miles in Concorde Hotels : accommodation, breakfasts, lunches or dinners taken in a restaurant of the hotel or in the room, telephone,
fax ..
Excluded are banquet services (incl. group dinners), any services associated with the hiring of function rooms or cocktail parties.
Services charged to the hotel by outside suppliers cannot be used for AAdvantage miles in Concorde Hotels (taxis, golf, thalassotherapy, shows,
restaurants other than in the hotel, etc ..).
Services incl. as part of an offer will under no circumstances be taken into consideration for the purpose of calculating the number of AAdvantage
miles in Concorde Hotels.
Eligible rates for AAdvantage mileage
Rack rates, preferential Prestige rates, Global Corporate rates and USD guaranteed rates only carry entitlement to AAdvantage miles.
The calculation of AAdvantage miles is based upon the total (incl. VAT) shown in $ USD on the invoice. If the latter is given in a currency other than
$ USD, the amount will be converted into $ USD using the current exchange rate at the time the AAdvantage miles are calculated by Concorde
Hotels.
How to obtain AAdvantage miles in Concorde Hotels
Only members of AAdvantage scheme holding a valid cobranded Concorde Prestige card can earn AAdvantage miles at Concorde Hotels.
In order to be credited with AAdvantage miles at Concorde Hotels, it is essential the cardholder gives its Prestige membership number when booking
and that the cobranded Concorde Prestige card be presented on arrival at the hotel and at check-out.
AAdvantage miles obtained in Concorde Hotels will be posted to the cardholder's AAdvantage account within 8 weeks.
The cardholder must ensure that the correct number of AAdvantage miles obtained in Concorde Hotels has been credited to its AAdvantage account
(when receiving their AAdvantage miles statement).
In the event the cardholder believes miles have not been correctly credited, all relevant information (invoice, AAdvantage membership number)
should be forwarded to the AAdvantage Customer service non longer than 3 months after the date of stay.
In the event that the claim is justified, the appropriate AAdvantage miles will be credited.
GENERAL POINTS
American Airlines and AAdvantage are registered trademarks of American Airlines Inc.
American Airlines may find it necessary to change AAdvantage program rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers at any time, impacting,
for example, participant affiliations, rules for earning mileage and blackout dates, and limited seating for travel awards.
American Airlines reserves the right to end the AAdvantage program within 6 months notice. AAdvantage travel awards, mileage accrual and special
offers subject to government regulations. American Airlines is not responsible for products or services offered by other participating companies.
Concorde Hotels reserve the right to cancel this scheme within a 6-month period. It will be possible to collect miles during the 6 months following
notification, regardless of the expiry date.
Concorde Hotels may extend the Prestige scheme to include other hotels. Concorde Hotels reserve the right to end the participation of any hotel in
this scheme, without notice.
This scheme is only valid in countries where the AAdvantage program is allowed by law.
Any person who registered under the specific scheme gives Concorde Hotels the express authority to use any information in their possession for
sales and marketing purposes. Members may have free access to their file for the purpose of amending information. The information will be treated as
confidential and may only be communicated to member companies. If, however, the holder does not wish the information to be distributed to such
members, it will be sufficient for him to inform Concorde Hotels in writing.
In the event of non payment of a subscription fee or invoice or in the event of abuse of priviliges or false declarations on the part of the holder,
Concorde Hotels reserve the right to exclude a person from the specific scheme without notice.
The holder may decide at any point to cease participation in the specific scheme. Concorde Hotels must be notified of this in writing.
In the event of exclusion or cease, no reimbursement will be made for the card, and the cardholder will not be eligible for compensation of any kind.
In the event of the holder's death, Rules of AAdvantage American Airlines are to be applied.
Loss, theft and damage of cards
In the event of loss or theft of the card, the holder must inform Concorde Hotels Marketing Department, 83 Bd Exelmans 75016 Paris France or the
nearest Concorde Hotels Sales Office. Following notifications a new specific card will be dispatched with the same expiry date as soon as possible.
All relevant AAdvantage miles will be transferred to the new Prestige account and the old card cancelled.
Renewing the Concorde Prestige - American Airlines card
The specific card may be renewed by payment of a further subscription fee, under condition of the subscriber to be AAdvantage member at the
renewing date. The holder will be notified prior to expiry date.
In the case of any difference of opinion regarding the interpretation of the general conditions of the scheme, the French law will apply to the contract
and any judgement applied for in Paris with regard to any dispute regarding the scheme.
