The holder of a Concorde Prestige - Alitalia card will be
named below "the cardholder".
Concorde Prestige - Alitalia card - Features
The Concorde Prestige - Alitalia scheme provides members
with certain advantages, namely the Alitalia miles credits based upon
pre-established rules in line with the conditions below.
The Concorde Prestige - Alitalia card may be used at Concorde Hotels
participating in the global Concorde Prestige scheme.
The card is valid for one year and may be used up until the
last day of the month shown. The card is not transferable and may not be
resold or lent to another person. It is not a credit card.
How to apply for the Concorde Prestige - Alitalia card
Anyone being an Alitalia Program member
(Club MilleMiglia, Premium Program, Club Ulisse, Club Freccia Alata) and
wishing to join the Concorde Prestige - Alitalia scheme may apply to do so
by returning a completed, signed application form together with payment to
either Concorde Hotels, Prestige Department, 83, Bd Exelmans 75016 Paris
France, or to the nearest Concorde Hotels Sales Office, or by E-mail.
Anyone whose application is accepted by Concorde Hotels
will be sent as soon as possible a personalised Concorde Prestige - Alitalia
card with name, Alitalia and Prestige membership numbers, together with the
uptodate Concorde Hotels directory.
Application to the scheme implies unlimited general
acceptance of these conditions.
Concorde Hotels reserve the right to refuse applications
which do not meet the stated criteria, without having to justify their
decision.
Each applicant is obligated to provide information
regarding changes of address. Concorde Hotels will not be held responsible
for mail not forwarded or for any possible consequences.
Benefits
Preferential rates
Any Alitalia cardholder can benefit in the participating hotels from
preferential rates representing from 10% to 20% discount on standard rates,
7 days a week (rates available upon request). The benefits mentioned above
cannot be combined either with other Concorde Hotels promotions or in the
case of contractual reductions entered into with a company.
These discounts only apply at participating hotels.
Preferential services
Upgrade to superior room, on request and subject to availability
Room available until 4.00 pm on the day of departure, with prior request
and upon availability.
Alitalia miles
Principle
During any paid stay, at eligible rate at a Concorde
Hotel participating in the Concorde Prestige scheme, where at least one night
is spent in a room at the hotel, the cardholder will be eligible for Alitalia
miles calculated on the following basis :
Lit. 25,000 incl. VAT spent at the hotel = 1 Alitalia mile.
There is a guaranteed minimum of Alitalia miles earned per
stay*: 30 miles (expenses of up to Lit. 750,000 and beside)
There is a maximum of Alitalia miles earned per stay* : 150 miles
(expenses of Lit. 3 750,000 and over).
* one stay being one or several consecutive nights whether one or several entry forms have been filled in.
How to calculate Alitalia miles at Concorde Hotels
Services provided by the hotel, invoiced to the client
holding the Concorde Prestige-Alitalia card and paid for immediately, are
taken into consideration in the calculation of Alitalia miles at Concorde
Hotels :
accomodation,
breakfasts, lunches or dinners taken in a restaurant of the hotel or in the
room,
telephone, fax ..
Excluded are banquets services (incl. group dinners),
any services associated with the hiring of function rooms or cocktail parties.
Services charged to the hotel by outside suppliers cannot be used for
Alitalia miles at Concorde Hotels (taxis, golf, thalassotherapy, shows,
restaurants other than in the hotel, etc ..).
Services incl. as part of an offer will under no circumstances be taken
into consideration for the purpose of calculating the number of Alitalia miles
at Concorde Hotels.
Eligible rates for Alitalia mileage
Rack rates, preferential Prestige rates, and Global Corporate rates only
carry entitlement to Alitalia miles.
The calculation of Alitalia miles is based upon the total
(incl. VAT) shown in
Lit. on the invoice. If the latter is given in a currency other than Lit.,
the amount will be converted into Lit. using the current exchange rate at the
time the Alitalia miles are calculated by Concorde Hotels.
How to obtain Alitalia miles at Concorde Hotels
Only holders of a valid Concorde Prestige -
Alitalia card can earn Alitalia miles at Concorde Hotels according to the
above mentionned rules (see Principles).
In order to be credited with Alitalia miles at Concorde Hotels, it is
essential the cardholder gives its Prestige membership number when booking
and that the Concorde Prestige - Alitalia card be presented on arrival at the
hotel and at check-out.
Alitalia miles obtained at Concorde Hotels will be posted
to the cardholder's Alitalia account within 8 weeks.
The cardholder must ensure that the correct number of Alitalia miles
obtained at Concorde Hotels has been credited to her/his Alitalia account
(when receiving her/his Alitalia miles statement).
In the event the cardholder believes miles have not been correctly
credited, all relevant information (invoice, Alitalia & Prestige membership
numbers) should be forwarded to the Alitalia Customer service non longer than 3
months after the date of stay.
In the event that the claim is justified, the appropriate Alitalia miles will be credited.
General points
Concorde Hotels reserve the right to cancel this scheme
within a 6-month period. It will be possible to collect miles during the 6
months following notification, regardless of the expiry date.
Concorde Hotels may extend the Prestige scheme to include other hotels.
Concorde Hotels reserve the right to end the participation of any hotel in
this scheme, without notice.
This scheme is only valid in countries where the Alitalia
program is allowed by law.
Any person who registered under the Concorde Prestige -
Alitalia scheme gives Concorde Hotels the express authority to use any
information in their possession for sales and marketing purposes. Members may
have free access to their file for the purpose of amending information. The
information will be treated as confidential and may only be communicated to
member companies. If, however, the cardholder does not wish the information to
be distributed to such members, it will be sufficient for her/him to inform
Concorde Hotels in writing.
In the event of non payment of a subscription fee or
invoice or in the event of abuse of priviliges or false declarations on the part
of the holder, Concorde Hotels reserve the right to exclude a person from the
specific scheme without notice.
The cardholder may decide at any point to cease participation in the
Prestige - Alitalia scheme. Concorde Hotels must be notified of this in writing.
In the event of exclusion or cease, no reimbursement will be made for the
card, and the cardholder will not be eligible for compensation of any kind.
In the event of the cardholder's death, Rules of Alitalia
scheme are to be applied.
Loss, theft and damage of cards
In the event of loss or theft of the card, the cardholder must inform
Concorde Hotels Marketing Department, 83 Bd Exelmans 75016 Paris France or the
nearest Concorde Hotels Sales Office. Following notifications a new Concorde
Prestige - Alitalia card will be dispatched with the same expiry date as soon
as possible. All relevant Alitalia miles will be transferred to the new Prestige
account and the old card cancelled.
Renewing the Concorde Prestige - Alitalia card
The Concorde Prestige - Alitalia card may be renewed by payment of a further
subscription fee, under condition of the subscriber to be Alitalia member at
the renewing date. The cardholder will be notified prior to expiry date.
In the case of any difference of opinion regarding the
interpretation of the general conditions of the scheme, the French law will
apply to the contract and any judgement applied for in Paris with regard to
any dispute regarding the scheme.
