A multiform work.

The Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art is proud to present the first major exhibition of the American artist Bruce Nauman in Paris for more than 15 years. For this occasion, the artist has selected a series of recent works, presented for the first time in France next to older installations.

The selection represents a wide range of mediums explored throughout his career and reflects the very special attention that Bruce Nauman gives to the immediate environment surrounding his works and physical involvement of his viewers.
These absorbing works resonate with the setting of the Cartier Foundation and accentuate the contrast between transparent exhibition areas on the ground floor and the more enclosed spaces on the lower floor.
