Thirty years of design.

The exhibition Typorama presents thirty years of creations by French designer Philippe Apeloig. It was probably his passion for literature and the arts which led him to become interested in graphic design and typography. He discovered this form of expression during his studies in Paris and Amsterdam in the early 80s when he entered the Total Design studio. His design career began in 1985 at the Musée d'Orsay in which he participated in the opening and designed the poster for the first exhibition Chicago, birth of a metropolis. Philippe Apeloig was to make the letter into a pictorial and artistic object in a field in which it was often considered as a technical and functional device.

For this exhibition, Philippe Apeloig wished to highlight the process of graphic design. His posters, logos, visual identities, books and animations will be presented along with the steps in the development of research projects and the major influences that fuel his work.
