There were already elegant hotels in Paris, built during the Restoration and consisting of apartments reserved for a royal clientele. Here the guests expected both elegant and peaceful surroundings. THE « GOLDEN BLACK » BAR: Just off the foyer, the Golden Black Bar which has undergone extensive renovations, now boasts new furniture as well as original decorations inspired by the Great Exhibition of 1889 and by Africa of the 1920’s. Inviting you to experience a world of simple and delicate shapes, the furniture bears the signature Citrus Mobilier. In the pictures painted by the artist Valérie CALVI, objects, photos, statuettes and ceremonial African dress mingle, in a harmony of tones and styles, with the Paris of the last century. This elegant little oasis offers a wide range of cocktails, champagnes and whiskies.

The Café Terminus: Sophisticated, creative cooking, original dishes and reasonably priced meals in a "Belle Epoque" setting designed by the famous fashion designer Sonia Rykiel. Forget for a moment the hustle and bustle of Parisian life, and enjoy a dinner professionally prepared by the Head Chef. Breakfasts: Do you rise with the lark, or do you wish to stay in bed a while longer? You may eat our Continental breakfast in your room. A "Buffet" meal in the lounge provides you with an American breakfast (check time).

DATE OF CONSTRUCTION: The Hotel Concorde Saint-Lazare, known at the time as « Grand Hôtel Terminus », was built in 1889 by the Compagnie des Chemins de fer de l’Ouest to accommodate visitors to the Great Exhibition. DECOR: Behind the rather sober facade we find a decor of pink marble, paintings, and Lameire sculptures. SITUATION: The hotel is situated opposite the Gare Saint-Lazare, a few minutes’ walk from the large stores on the Boulevard Haussmann, from the Madeleine and the Opéra, and 7 minutes from “La Défense” by train.
