Considered one of the festivals Arab, African and world's most important, the International Festival of Carthage is celebrating its 46th edition. The amphitheater of Carthage restored early 20th century has hosted many different civilizations, and is regarded today as a symbolic site for Tunisia.

Since February 1990 at the outset of its Exhibitions grounds business, the Société des Foires Internationales de Tunis has got the necessary know-how and skills for the organizing of international professional exhibitions in a wide range of activities. In this respect, with the support of the Tunisian professional bodies, it has undertaken with success the organizing of many sessions of international trade exhibitions related to leather and shoes industries, food industries, building sector, textile, plastics, automotive components, computer, optics, furniture, and so forth.

The salon in the creation and development of technology businesses, which is held every two years, is a new tool in addition to all the support mechanisms for start-ups (Wednesday the creation of businesses, regional partnering days), to encourage young entrepreneurs to settle their own accounts.

As a major event in the textile industry, SIET is the sole international exhibition organized in Tunisia which can gather all foreign manufacturers with their tunisian representatives and retailers in the sector of textile and clothing machines, equipments and accessories.
