The Hotel Concorde Montparnasse is located 2 kilometers from the historic quarter of Saint-Germain-des-Pres. Located in the 6th arrondissement (district) in the very center of old Paris, it will only take you 5 to 10 minutes to get there by bus.
The main arteries that criss-cross this Paris neighborhood, especially Boulevard Saint-Germain, were once found crowded with very well renowned artists and French politicians. François Mitterrand, Jean-Paul Sartre or even Boris Vian, all succeeded in making it a special and favorite place for meeting and spending time together.
The prestigious Abbaye de Saint-Germain-des-Pres (Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Pres), close to the hotel, was built in the 6th century A. D.
