History

The Hotel Paris was built in 1904 by well-known architect Jan Vejrych and its interiors were designed by A. Pfeifer with ceramic mosaics designed by J. Köhler.

In 1984 the Hotel was declared a historical monument, taking its rightful place on the list of the most beautiful buildings in Prague. After the Velvet Revolution, in 1991, the government returned this great hotel to the Brandejs Family, the original builders and owners.

Although built over 100 years ago, thanks to the work of the Brandejs family, walking into this grand hotel is like stepping back in time, recapturing the elegance and grandeur of the Art Nouveau era.
