This recently opened luxury restaurant serves one of the most varied menus of any Barcelona hotel, with an extensive breakfast buffet and a choice of buffet or à la carte menus for lunch and dinner, offering a wide range of delicious Catalan and Mediterranean dishes. In addition to the open grill area for meat and seafood lovers, there is also a deli offering sandwiches and light fare, with all breads and pastries baked at the in-house bakery, as well as an attractive terrace for al fresco dining. Contraste Restaurant also features two private areas, La Bodega and La Panadería, available on request.

The Princesa Sofia Hotel offers superb Mediterranean cuisine in the lobby-level Contraste Restaurant, with an al fresco area for dining in warmer weather.
Alternatively you can sit on the terrace in the Biergarten, a traditional Bavarian beer garden where you can sample the best of German gastronomy. The Contraste Bar offers live piano entertainment on Thursday and Friday nights.
