Next to the Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and Rue Royale, well known for their designer boutiques, the Hôtel de Crillon neighbours legendary fashion houses such as Dior, Lanvin, Hermès and Cartier. Place de la Concorde

The largest and most important square in central Paris, Place de la Concorde has retained much of its 18th century appearance. Located along the River Seine, the Place de la Concorde separates the Tuileries Garden from the Champs Elysées. Rising up in the square is the imposing Obelisk of Luxor, an important landmark of Paris.


Rue du Faubourg St Honoré

Alongside Avenue Montaigne, Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré is home to many of the world's top designers of fashion and luxury goods. The street stretches from the Louvre Museum all the way up to Place Beauvau and presents a succession of luxury shops, boutiques and cafes. Fashion Designer stores include Gianni Versace, Christian Dior, Hermès, Jean Paul Gaultier, Yves St. Laurent Rive Gauche and Chloé.


L'Orangerie

Located in the Tuileries Gardens, this museum houses a wonderful collection of paintings including pieces by Renoir, Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani and Cezanne. Not to be missed are the two oval rooms where Monet's famous 'Waterlily' series is on show.


Place Vendôme

Designed by the architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart during the reign of Louis XIV, the square takes the form of an octagon, with only two openings, one at each end. At the heart of the square is a column erected by Napoleon to celebrate his victory of Austerlitz. It is also the starting place of Rue de la Paix, one of the city's fashionable shopping streets.

The most visited site in Paris, the Louvre Museum is home to many of the world's finest works of art ranging from prehistoric times to mid 19th century. The Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo are just two of the Louvre's most renowned attractions, but take some extra time to discover the wealth of paintings, sculpture, history and archaeology on display.
