It is difficult to know where to look first in this exquisite salon, as everything is a feast for the eyes, whether it is the ceiling ornamented with gold-leaf eagles and four delicate Wedgewood medallions, the French parquet laid in 'Hungary' style, or the bird's-eye view of Paris and Place de la Concorde.

This room, filled with natural light, offers a magnificent view over Place de la Concorde. Its name comes from the subjects depicted in the paintings which originally decorated the walls, now replaced with a series of splendid mirrors.

Situated on the ground floor, lit by large French windows looking onto the Cour d'Honneur, this beautifully serene room evokes the huge reception rooms of traditional private houses.

Opposite the Cour Boissy, this full-length room has a theatrical feel to it, ready to stage any type of event: it is the perfect setting for conferences or receptions.

With views of the Jardin d'Hiver and the Cour d'Honneur, the Citronnier is a cosy, intimate, warm room decorated with very light-coloured lemon-wood panelling.
