Fight against climate change preserves resources, such as water. In Benin, 45% of the population does not have access to water: the lack of water affects people life, forcing them to move to find this vital resource.

With CARE France, Concorde Hotels & Resorts is committed to provide sustainable access to safe water for more than 100.000 people including more than 30 schools.

• 10 districts of Ouemé and Borgou departments
• 114.560 affected people
• 80 villages, 32 schools and 10 health centers

• Set up and train water points management committees
• Carry out 122 new drillings in the communities, schools and health centers, and rehabilitate 30 of them
• Train and sensitize women, pupils, users and personnel of health centers and their communities to hygiene best practices and good management of the resource
• Celebrate water day and organize a contest: « Clean Villages »
