A landmark on the Paris skyline, the Eiffel Tower is one of the world’s most famous structures. Built in 1889 by Gustav Eiffel, the tower took more than two years to construct and was the world’s tallest building for over 40 years. Take the elevator to the top to experience spectacular views of Paris in all directions. At the base of the Tower is the Trocadero Gardens that stretch from the Palais de Chaillot to the Seine. A popular place for tourists and locals alike to gather and enjoy the surroundings, as well as being an ideal spot to get that perfect picture of the Eiffel Tower.

The Eiffel Tower is open every day, throughout the entire year. 1st January to 14th June and 2nd September to 31st December 2007 9:30 am to 11:00 pm 15th June to 1st September 2007 9:00 am to midnight
