A famous French department store chain, Printemps is located on Boulevard Haussmann in the heart of the Paris shopping district. A must visit for all lovers of shopping, the store is spread over several floors and offers, fashion for men, women and children, home decoration, beauty products, jewellery and accessories.

Designed by Paul Sedille in the late 19th century for the founder of Printemps Jules Jazulot, the building was thought a very daring project. It was considered ‘modern’ in comparison with the grand residences of Paris and there was a public outcry when the plans were proposed. Today it is registered as an historical monument along with its spectacular stain glass cupola which is a must see when visiting the store.
