This is the largest museum of Buddhist art in Europe and one of the twelve major museums in France. Exhibits include art and archaeology from the 17 countries of antiquity, from Afghanistan to Japan. It houses the leading collection in the West for art from Afghanistan, Cambodia, Tibet and Buddhist Japan. Also to be seen is rare porcelain from China.
